China: Xinjiang Hit by Spring Snowstorm, City Blanketed in White

On March 9, 2024, in Xinjiang, located in western China, a video captured a surprising spring snowstorm. Snow blanketed the land so thickly that people and vehicles struggled to move. Cars were buried halfway, and human legs disappeared into the deep snow. The scene resembled a snowy world out of a fairytale. Chinese netizens were shocked by the weather, wondering how such heavy snowfall was still happening in spring.
